History Time Line
Since 1948 Carey Boiler Works has been proud to aid you with excellent services. We first started off as R.J. Carey Company. Richard J. Carey started a boiler shop in Downtown Williamsport.concentrating mostly on repairing residential heating. We then quickly expanded into Industrial Boiler service and installation around 1960. Then in 1972, we finished our first self contained mobile boiler room. It was transported by using a Low Boy and was a very innovative way to offer affordable boiler rentals. That self contained boiler from 1972 inspired us to make it yet even more mobile, so in 1985 we then were able to fit rental boilers in trailers. And even today we still use this method. We now have a large fleet of mobile boiler rental trailors, ranging in various horse power and sizes. In 1997, we were one of the first in the industry to be on the World Wide Web, and have an informative website.
